Installation

  • Open terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run command to add the PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp
  • Run following commands in terminal to install GIMP:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install gimp
  • This will install GIMP 2.10. If you already have GIMP 2.8, it will be upgraded to GIMP 2.10.
